10岁时的你在上体育课时都在干什么呢？很有可能是在沿着跑道跑步吧。你能想象在学校每周都有两次机会打高尔夫吗？10岁的袁婉越是这些幸运孩子们的其中一员。但是如此荣幸的她也是要付出代价的。婉越是6人一组中唯一通过学校严格高尔夫考试的女生。婉越是观澜湖高尔夫学院来自美国的B级教练吴文杰的学生。当婉越开始学高尔夫时，她没有任何高尔夫基础，但没落下一节文化课，她坚持每个星期天下午与吴文杰教练学习高尔夫。十小时的学习之后，她说她要努力通过学校的高尔夫考试。婉越第一次就成功地通过了考试，并超越了班里很多男生。她把这种高尔夫天赋归功于其他业余活动，如武术，中国功夫及芭蕾。在空闲时间，她还会练习钢琴。她之所以能够快速地适应高尔夫，不仅是因为她拥有良好的学习态度，而且其它业余活动对高尔夫的学习起到了辅助作用。我们祝愿婉越在今后的高尔夫事业中蓬勃发展，也鼓励她在学习的道路上永不止步。

What were you doing in your P.E class at 10 years old? Most likely, you were running track and doing laps. Could you imagine being able to play golf twice a week at school for the year? Liz Yuan, 10, is one of those fortunate kids to be able to do that. However, her privilege came with a price. Liz is the only girl in a group of 6 that passed a rigorous golf exam held in her school to qualify for this privilege. Liz is a student of Mission Hills Golf Academies under Level B Instructor, Jason Wu of U.S.A. When Liz first started, she did not have any foundations in golf, but came to see Jason every Sunday afternoon without missing a class. After 10 hours of coaching, she said she was going to try and qualify for the school golf classes. Liz successfully passed her exam first time, surpassing many of the other boys in her class. Liz attributes a lot of her golf talents to other activities like Wushu, martial arts, and ballet. In her spare time, she also practices piano. Liz was able to quickly adapt to golf because she not only had a good work ethic, but she also did other activities to help the process of learning. We wish Liz all the best in her future endeavors and also encourage her to never stop learning.
