It’s hard to believe that 2020 is about to end soon. Ten months ago, who could have predicted the world would be united in a common cause: overcoming the impacts of COVID-19.
很难令人相信，2020年即将结束。十个月以前，谁会预料到全世界的人都不得不为了攻克共同的难关而团结在一起：克服新冠肺炎造成的影响。
I would like to reach out to all our Hongkong and Overseas members who have not been able to come to the Club since the outbreak. We miss you all very much. Our housekeeping team has been keeping your locker fresh and tidy, and keeping your gear in good condition. If there is anything that you would like the club to arrange for you before your return, please let us know. We look forward to welcoming you back with our traditional hospitality and personalized service.
在此我想向所有疫情以来身处香港和海外，目前仍然不能来到球会的会员们发去问候，我们十分想念你们！管家部团队始终保持您更衣柜的整洁和干爽，细心呵护让您的装备，保持良好状态。在您返回前，若您有任何需要俱乐部为您准备的事项，请让我们知晓，我们竭诚为您服务。西丽秉承着始终如一的热情好客和个性化的服务，热烈期待你们回家！
We are happy to report that all four golf courses are in great condition. We have completed the irrigation renovation project around mid October, and there will be no big construction work on the course this year. However our GCM team continues to make positive refinements on the golf course. The key focus from now to the end of 2020 is to upgrade the landscape at the back of the surrounding Hole A5 green, as shown in the above photos. We plan to present a new appearance for this signature hole with increasing diversity of the landscape and a better color consistency. But this maintenance work should not interfere with play time. We invite our members to come out during the fantastic weather to fully enjoy the well cultivated playing surfaces we have worked so hard to offer.
我们很开心地告知会员们，球场目前的状态非常好。喷灌系统改造工程已于10月中旬完成，今年将不再进行大型场地维护工作。但草坪保养团队仍将持续积极地为场地焕新作出努力。从现在起至2020年底，重点是升级A5洞果岭背后及周围的景观。如上图所示，我们计划通过增加景观丰富性、色彩的层次性和和谐性，来呈现此标志洞的全新外观。这项工作不会影响会员们的正常打球。我们诚邀各位会员沐浴在冬日暖风中，沉浸于全新景观里，享受我们为您悉心打造的高品质球场。
I am pleased to share with you that Xili Golf and Country Club has been recognized as one of the top 5 ‘Platinum Golf Clubs in China’ in the TOP 10 Golf Courses Awards 2020 organized by GOLF Magazine. We are extremely proud of this award. We truly appreciate every one of YOU, our members. Your support has been the biggest driver for our continued growth throughout the years.
我很高兴地与大家分享，在《GOLF 高尔夫》杂志举办的“2020年中国十佳高尔夫球场”评选中，西丽高尔夫乡村俱乐部荣膺“中国白金高尔夫俱乐部”奖项（国内共五家球场同获此荣誉）。我们为此奖项感到非常自豪。我们衷心地感谢每个您——我们的会员们！时光流转，您的支持一直是我们持续进取的最大动力！
Words cannot capture the immense pride and gratitude I have for all our staff during this overwhelming year. Our employees are our superheroes and we could not operate Xili so efficiently and safely without them.
对于我们全体员工在这不寻常的一年中所有的付出，言语已不能表达我的自豪与深切的感激。员工是我们的超级英雄！没有他们，俱乐部将无法如此高效又安全地正常运转。
Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much more. Thank you for all your patience and love and support throughout the year, even if we must keep apart at times. We hope everyone stays strong wherever you are. We are looking forward to meeting you all at the Club soon.
独自一人可以做的很少，团聚在一起我们可以做的更多。感谢您一整年的耐心、爱心和支持，即使我们有时必须分开。但我们希望无论您身在何处，都能保持强大的内心。期待很快就能在俱乐部与各位相聚！
